Let’s get this out of the way: readiness is a myth.
At least the version you’ve been sold.
The idea that you have to feel fully healed, debt-free, organized, confident, and six steps ahead before you're “allowed” to want more?
It’s not true.
And worse, it’s a delay tactic dressed up as virtue.
Because the truth is: you’re allowed to want big things even in your messiest seasons.
Before the self-doubt quiets down.
Before the savings account is full.
Before your nervous system is perfectly regulated.
Wanting more isn’t reckless or greedy. It’s honest. It’s deeply human.
And for so many women I work with, it’s also terrifying.
Why?
Because we’ve been trained to treat desire like a red flag.
To believe that ambition must be earned through suffering or sacrifice.
To think, “Who am I to want that?” instead of “Why not me?”
You don’t have to be perfect to want more.
You don’t have to get it all together first.
You don’t need a spreadsheet that proves your goals are “responsible.”
Desire isn’t a math problem. It’s a signal. A compass.
And it gets quieter every time you ignore it.
You’re not selfish. You’re just growing.
If your wants have been changing… evolving… getting louder lately, that’s a good sign.
It means your life is shifting shape. Your sense of possibility is stretching.
And yes, it might feel too big for the version of you who used to settle.
But not for who you're becoming.
Ready is a feeling you earn by starting.
You don’t become ready and then take action.
You take action, and then you become the version of you who’s ready.
That’s how growth works. That’s how sufficiency expands.
So if you’re feeling the pull of something bigger — a bolder life, a new business chapter, a new relationship to money — let yourself feel it.
Let yourself want it.
Even if you don’t know how.
Even if your inner critic is losing its mind.
Even if your bank account hasn’t caught up yet.
Wanting more is not a betrayal of where you are.
It’s a commitment to where you’re going.
